Never tried to change the Mac filters in binhexed form. I just have
written a decompiler for Mac filters (works on mac only). If you are
interested in it, just tell me.

I will try to find out asap how the binhexing things work with resource
forks. Maybe it will be possible then to change the code of them. You
should not try to work on files with resourceforks on other platforms,
caue you will loose or the datafork or the res fork. Don't know which of
them... (Please remember that the resource forks are NOT a copy of the
data forks, like Microsoft likes to say.)

What do you mean with dynamically changing the filters ? Sorry, but I just
don't get zhat you mean with that.
