I know. You normally loose the resource-fork, if you simply transfer a
file.
But to avoid it I think there is an uncompressed "archive" format, that
contains both the resource and the data fork in one stream.

Assume you have a lot of filters in an SQL database, and then generate
.8bf or .txt files if someone wants such a file. I don't want to say
more, but if I get it to work it will be a very cool resource. This
depends if I killed the motherboard of my 486 last night ... Did you
know that thin wires almost melt if you short-circuit a 5V line :-) ?
