As for some reason I did not get the original message, now my
explanation what is "FilterFormula" (=FiFo):

FilterFormula is a filter-creation plugin which works with Adobe
Photoshop 4 and 5, but also with Corel Photopaint (7 - w/restrictions
and 8), PaintShop Pro 5.x, and even Microsoft PhotoDraw 2000 (I tried it
on the test version).

FiFo is - in contrary to FF - NOT freeware, it is shareware (you can use
the free version which has only few restrictions for 30 days) - see our
homepage for the prices..

FiFo contains an inline compiler for a simple "C"-like language (only
integers) and is upwards-compatible to Filter Factory (i.e. you can
import FF .afs files and you get - at least in 98 % of all cases - the
same result as in FF).
It has a much more powerful language than FF - you can not only define
expressions as in FF, but also full C statements. The main advantages
are:
- real user variables, the "storage array" may have up to 64K entries
(=256 KB)
- two-pass filtering (4 code sections: init - first pass - 2nd init -
second/main pass) - this can be used for pre-calculations (to gather
information about the whole image)
- 6 color selectors (plus 8 sliders as in FF - but the range can be
specified in FiFo), 3 checkboxes, custom definable coordinates (within
preview window - 1.1 will have up to 6 coordinates)
- zooming and panning in preview window
- many more functions including handling of HLS color system, gamma
correction
- with the full/registered "professional - as it will be called" version
you can create royalty-free standalone filters

Within the next few days (probably before April 1st) release 1.1 with
new features will be uploaded to our website:
