Have a look at http://pico.i-us.com/filters/afx.htm
You will find the names of all effects and subeffects there, plus my 
comments on them.

I think now there should be a demo of KPT 5 available at 
www.metacreations.com. KPT 3 is included in the KPT 5 package.
