I made some tests with ASPack, too. FF plugins that were 
compressed with it will only have the half the size, but won't be 
recognized by any host, cause the PIPL ressoures are 
compressed, too. 
If you deactivate the ressource compression, you'll save only 10 K 
per plugin, which isn't very much, but the plugins will work fine. So I 
don't think it is worth compressing FF plugins with ASPack.

I've tried to compress a FiFo plugins and it caused PSP to crash.
