Softlight.. how?

Hi all.

Does anyone know how to simulate the Photoshop "Soft Light" layer 
mode? I know that either Harry or Wern posted some code on this some 
time ago but which doesn't seem to be correct.

The posted (but incorrect) code was:

c1<128?2*scl(c0,0,255,64,192)*c1/256:255-(2*(255-
scl(c0,0,255,64,192))*(255-c1)/256)

Please help...
