Actually I screwed up, it's the receiving IE5 that adds it, not the sending one.

Yes, I've been using this system for 2 years. It's quite easy and powerful if you already know HTML.
Much easier than the old WinHelp.
It will work fine on Win98, and should work on most Win95 an NT machines, although there may be some crashes if a CHM
file compiled with the latest version of the compiler is run on a PC with an old version of the run-time components.

I can work with IE3 but is much better with IE4 or 5 installed.
It allows you to use .css style sheets and to do all the fancy JavaScript, Java, DHTML... stuff you want.
BTW, I joined this list to make a very special deformation filter, when I saw I could not make it with FF, I wrote it in
C, but with the emergence of the new systems, maybe it's possible (FM...), anybody can confirm ? Check it out at:
