uesr-friendly plugin programming shell?
Hello,
my name is Orio and I seldom contribute to this list, unfortunately, because
I'm very bad with mathematics and I can't program FF or the likes, but I am
a professional designer and I am interested in anything that is related to
image-transforming tools (and I am always hoping to be enlightened and get
to learn how to program one day!).
Lately, there's been a lot of discussion about the different programming
shells for filters.
I wanted to ask you: is anyone working (or thinking about) a "user-friendly"
interface for programming filters? I mean, something that lets people like
me program their own filters only by tweaking virtual knobs and sliders,
without having to actually learn code?
I am aware that even if such a program existed, it will never be able to
reach the precision and sophistication of true programming.
It will be something like a toy piano compared to a real instrument.
Yet, I believe that many people like me -professionals, but also amateurs-
would love to have such a program that lets them personalize filters and
create new, simple, but personal filters on their own without having to deal
with code.
I also think that this program would have a commercial boom. I, for myself,
would buy such a program immediately for even 200 or 300 $, if it existed.
Orio.
P.S. If someone on the list finds this idea good, and starts working on that
program, remember to send me royalties !! :-) (just kidding)
