Un projecte que tinc pensat però que encara no he encetat és
precisament fer una pàgina web amb correccions i esmenes per a aquests
diccionaris.
For example, why the verb "to ensure" doesn't appears in this
dictionary?
It must have been an oversight.
What does it mean exactly?
assegurar; To make sure or certain; insure: "Our precautions ensured
our safety".
Usage Note (http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=assure): Assure,
ensure, and insure all mean "to make secure or certain." Only assure is
used with reference to a person in the sense of "to set the mind at
rest": "He assured the leader of his loyalty". Although ensure and
insure are generally interchangeable, only insure is now widely used in
American English in the commercial sense of "to guarantee persons or
property against risk."
